Join Grayson Hartley and Abe Schoener for a collaborative, immersive inquiry into the alchemical mysteries of winemaking and their meaning. Informed by short readings from Goethe and Hegel, and accompanied by a 4-year vertical of an inspiring wine from Provence, we’ll be exploring the dialectic between form and variation, meditating on wine’s fundamental tether to agriculture and place, and receptive to any other pathways that the conviviality of the evening takes us.
